INK was my final capstone project from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY, where I just graduated with a BFA in Digital Arts. The film has taken over two years to complete – as crazy as it sounds – from roughly 6:42 AM on Tuesday, November 13, 2007 to about 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 15, 2009.

Robert here with some great news.  My piece called “Ink’s Ascension” (File Hosted on Newgrounds.com http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/294095) has been used in the ArmorGames.com Video Game called “Balloon in a Wasteland”.

“Balloon in a Wasteland” is created by John Cooney, Armor Games Lead Programmer.  Ink’s Ascension, while short, can be found for the title music of this very creative and exciting flash game.  The game is a bit on the easy side but, it has a great amount of replay value and is sure to entertain countless fans!  Currently, the game on the ArmorGames.com website has been played over 600,000 times.  The game is also posted on www.newgrounds.com (where the audio is currently stored).

Nekro Pyrae MMVI and Nekro Pyrae MMVIII are two – somewhat complete – stories that take place in New York City in 2006 and 2008 respectively.

NPMMVI began with one main, player character in the summer of 2005 (back when the GotEXP forums were just a Google Group) and moved on to a total player count of 7 before players dropped out and only a handful of the characters made a second appearance in the next story.

NPMMVIII continued the story left off in NPMMVI. Two years had passed (real time and in-game) and the new events focused on a select number of characters (mostly those carried over from the first story).

Now, two years later (Nekro Pyrae MMVIII began January 19th, 2008 and ended January 23rd, 2010), the second story has finally come to an end – most players having dropped, save for one.

That player’s character, Mathura, has been sent to Raconok City, MN – where he will continue on his story in Tales of the Hook.

I logged in today only to find that my piece of music called “City of Angels” has made its way to Newgrounds.com’s Audio Top 30 as the #28th best piece on newgrounds.

After a long time of having to deal with real life, it’s time to get this project 100% off the ground. 

The first step for us as a studio was to automate our website so that we may upload our media to show to the world.  We can also use this automation to give news to the current GotEXP community in terms of games and other things!

Please comment below as to what you think of the new site.  Keep in mind, I will be also changing the template used for this site to something more suitable.  I hate the original wordpress front
